With decades of experience between the posts and on the pitch, Tomi Romic leads Top Flight GK Academy with passion, precision, and professionalism.

A proud product of Sydney United 58 FC, Tomi progressed through both the junior and senior ranks before forging a distinguished career across the NSW State Team (No. 1) and several top NPL clubs, including Parramatta Melita FC, SD Raiders, Blacktown City, and NSW Spirit FC.

His talent and drive also saw him compete in the Croatian National League, showcasing his ability on an international stage and gaining valuable insight into European football culture.

Throughout his playing career, Tomi earned recognition for his leadership, consistency, and technical mastery between the posts , including being named NPL Goalkeeper of the Year.

Now, as a dedicated coach and mentor, Tomi channels his extensive experience into shaping the next generation of elite goalkeepers. His coaching philosophy centres on technical excellence, mental resilience, and developing the complete goalkeeper — one who can perform confidently under pressure and adapt to the modern game.

At Top Flight GK Academy, Tomi’s sessions focus on:

Beyond the academy, Tomi continues to lift the standard of goalkeeping across NSW through his commitment to player development and mentorship. His mission is to help every keeper, from grassroots to elite, realise their potential, build confidence, and play with purpose.
